THE SQUAR
ERICH
Square, These lights Will
replace the old lighting located
on both the inside and outside of
'the traffic' circle.
The new units are valued at
approximately $'600 each, '$300
for the concrete standard and•
$300 for the lighting unit. The
new• 'lights put out twice. the
amount of light presently
generated, but do so using the
same amount of power.
Mr. Rolston explained that
the: new concrete poles were
selected in the interests of a
'longer life expectancy than
metal. '
In addition to the actual
street lamps, .the new' standards
are equipped' with recepticles so
that flood lights. may ' be
atttached to,,jlight the trees and
inner area of the courthouse
park. Christmas lights and.
decorations may a ' o be
connected to these units. .
The project also ,ticludesthe
placement of service recepticles
in eight thtughout the, court'

in conjunction with such events
as Summerfest staged in . the
area for ' displays' or activities
requiring power.

like maniacs. They tore all. the
shingles off the side of the old
log.'house and apparently pea eptly put
them on the roof. They have to
walk' only, three-quarters of a'
mile to get to the homestead.
Their only real problem now
is to build a bridge across a
stream, for access to, the
property, and then a half -mile
roadto the• farm -house.
• I wotiki cross a. bridge .built_
by my civil engineer friend only
with water -wings. And -I would
drive, up a riiad built by the
Doctor only with a helicopter.
However, it takes all kinds. And
I did, promise to come up and

Everybody works. There's a
stone mason or two, a carpenter,
a roofer, a plumber, an elec-

They are used to the big-

weeks, they have everything
working. They'll have ah cow
