The two-day event is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 12 and 13; .at. the local waterfront, Registrations begin on Friday_ evening, August 1�1. lnvitations” for the compete eve races ,ha e been sent to every Firebali'er in Ontario and ., up to 30 competitors are expected. They will' ompete for the Goderich Sailing, Club "Fireballer" award which will be presented at.the conclusion of the three- •race series. Activities° begin the morning -then- 12—with— -a . _.pre -race Skippers' meeting. . _at 9:00_ followed. by the first race at 10 a.m: The second race will follow at :x:00 p.m, A buffet supper will._,♦ be prepared by the ladies of the \ sailing club ' for Saturday ° evening, followed by a dance at the Maitland Country Club. '\ The concluding ra6e of the \ series will,, commence Sunday \ morning at 10 a.m. The course for all races will be triangular, \ offshore from the bluffs overlooking the waterfron_t, and approximately three `miles in \ length.
