This years show involved no
competition and the whole club
co-operated to produce series

Although the event was not a
fund raising .venture a

Police reported; on Monday that.. .
a fire last Wednesday, which
destroyed a small cottage owned
by Donald Crich of' R.R. 5
London, and located on the West
side of the ,Maitland Rivet near
the Maitland • Valley
Conservation Reserve, was
started by youngsters playing at
the site:.
The small building, valued at
only .$200, burned to the ground
despite efforts of'cottagers in the .
area to save it. The best they
could do was fight to deep .the
flames from spreading into
nearby brush and, bushland.

Goderich firefighters
answered the . call but by the
time they arrived with proper
equipment they could only
extinguish the smoldering ruins
and help prevent its spread. The
firetruck, in attempting to reach
the burning building, found .the
roadway chained off and was
forced '-to •turn around .and,
backtrack . to find an .alternate
route.
The cottage was unoccupied
and has been for some time.

Airpark is still undecided even
though the' "fact-finding
meeting" last Thursday ,evening
in Goderich Town Council
Chambers proved successful.
In a . prepared statement for

achieved its objective of defining
certain • facts regarding the
history of ownership as well as
the 1972 status of :Sky Harbor
Airpark.'' ^
