Ministries, will be at the Huron Men's Chapel at 8 p.m. nightly between April 21 •an'd_May 7. Mr.
Ruggles is both a preacher and a soloist, having a natural talent as a songleader. He has pastored
churches in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Paul Parr and The Songmasters are

missionary in Brazil, will $ speak
at Goderich Free •Methodist
Church on 'April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
The Snyders, who haveci,,
completed their first term • of
missionary service:are
enthusiastic about the spiritual
vitality of the Brazilian churches.
They report five • new
congregations formed in the
greater Sao Paulo area in the past
year, Some of these
congregattiails” meet in portable
tabernacles, others in homes.
New conversions are reported in
all the congregations. During the
past year,. alone• the Brazilian
Conference ha,s shown'' a 30 per
cent increase in membership.
Cell-typ'e groups have been the
dynamic of the new spiritual life.
These small groups meet
regularly for prayer, Bible study.
and sharing. •
Since• their arrival in Brazil in
1968 the Snyders have made
significant contributions to the
Brazilian Conference. Mr.
Snyder has taught in the. Free
Methodist Theological Seminary
in die city of Sao Raub. He also
served as Dean of the seminary,
as well as being one ofthe pastors
of the Cidade Adema"r church in
the city. Along with teaching and
pastoral duties he has contributed
articles for publication in various
"evangelical magazines.
Mr. Snyder was born•bof
missionary parents in the
Dominican iiepublic. He is a
graduate of Greenville College,
Greenville, Illinois, and of
Asbury Thealogical• Seminary,
Wilmore, Kentucky. Following
