Thegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jenkins, R.R. 1,
Clinton and the bride, the daughter of 11 r's. -Earl Cox and the late
Glen Pickard, R.R. 2. Goderich.'

The brute wore a floor-lengthgawn of peau de soie ti+i i high,
rounded neckline and a jacket of chantilly, lace with _bouffant
'sleeve. The detachable chapel train wits held at th waistline by a
small self bow. A flower cluster held her double -tiered veil of
silk --illusion and .she carried a coloniar bouquet of, pink
.sweetheart roses and white miniature carnations with white
trearnems and pink roe buds. •
The bridesmaid, bliss Marilyn Aiken of Clinton, was dressed
in an aqua polyester silk. floor -length •gown. styled with empire
waistline and chantilly lace outiinip the mandarin.,neckline and
puff sleeves. She Married a colonial bouquet of white ruins with
pink .miniature carnations and white streamers with pink
miniature carnations.
Mark: Jenkins, brother of the groom was groomsman.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at L7onar•kven
Farms, home of the groom's parents. The table,was decorated by
a wedding,-cake.,candelabra and pink and white flowers. The'

T.he mother of the groom wore a dress of brown and•s ellow
figured crimplene with yellow carnation corsage. •
During the recePtion, a telephone call'was •rece,ived from Mr.
and Mrs. William Elliott. cousins of the bride, from, Little
Current. Manitoulin Island..extending congratulations and hest
wishes to the .newly weds.
For the wedding trip to. Florida the bride chose a dress of
figured silk with deep purple velvet trim.. She yore a corsage of
pink carnations.
Afterthe wedding trip the couple will reside in Galt where the
•bride is an R.N.A. at Galt Hospital and the groom is an employee
of McLean and Piester.
Prior to the wedding, the bride w.as, honoured at a shower given

Aiken, Clinton and at a shower given by Mrs. Williagt Cox. P.R.

Mr, andMrs. Jack Ryan, 111 Newgate Street in.Goderich, were honored by friends and relatives at
SaltfordValley Hall February 28 on the occasion of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. The Ryans
have been residents of,Gocjerich for, nearly all of the 50 years of thei r married life. They have a family
of three boys, Bruce and Lproy of Goderich and Ron of Owen Soundas well as 10 grandchildren.

didn't squleeze the clay for five
minutes the dish would plow up,
when heated, -
" Some had to make their -dish two
or three times. It has to sit for 10
days; then wepaint and hake it.
The clay was really mucky.
