., Goderieh Art Club took
recently at`the Studio. The new
n president Beryl H- er presided,
'and seventeen °lople were
present, ihc1uding members . and
oitisiders. v
' Mier ,the. usual business was
dispatched, many new ideas were

first being a wider use of the
studio for the benefit of those who
work during the day.
It was'gnerally agreed. that the
membership sh ouldbe expanded.
Tentative plans were made to give
all the' members access tq the
studio at any time they wish t
work there. Several local artists
who were present offered Whelp
with evening workshops of
various kinds: Jim Marlatt in life
drawing, Sue Bell, sculpture, and
Ernie Niblockt silk screen, ti
mention a few.
The group 'agreed to set aside
-Sunday Sunday evening. for sessions in
life drawing, Monday for
sculpture, arid Wednesday
evening • to learn silk screen'
printing with -the help of Ernie.
Niblock, It was decided also that
members would develop their own
posters tor the Art Mart durilhg
these evening sessions.
Some beneficial changes were
'discussed for the July exhibition,
such as limiting the quantity of °•
outside entries and keeping one
area . f °thrk_
exhibitors. Three days beginning
July 27 were agreed upon as the
best time_ to hold the Art Mart,
Martha Rathburn will remain
' as convener, and a special

School in Winghatn, Friday:

each presented a play. This was
not a competitive festival so there
was no actual winner, although
each play was adjudicated. The
