A new. service Was' begun
this week on atrial basis by the
staff in the front office of The,
Signal -Star. They are charting
dates of upcoming-events,:;on-,a
calendar in an effort, to assist
local, service clubs, churches
and other organizations to 'co -
_ordinate their fund-raising
events.
As the system now stands,
the Signal -Star office staff wilt
chart coming events on their
calendar only 'if especially
requested by an officer of an
organization.
The Signal -Star office staff,
however, will. not- be
responsible for charting all
„upcorning events in the
;community.
It is- hoped this service will
alleviate someproblems for'
Goderich and, district 'people
until a more permanent
arrangement is found.
