On, November 23 a collision
between cars driven by Andrew
E. Bennett of 98 gast-ktreei and
Allan D. Drennan R.R. 3
Goderich occurred at *the corner
of Victoria and St. David streets
causing $450. damage,
Police are still., investigating
'and charges' are pending.

Arts . students .atterided a
workshop directed by' the
"Theatre Hour" The, actors
taught warm-up,' relaxation and'
breathing as well as senseiry
training. The st udents received
individual „ attention from the
.actors, and learned .a. greaL deal.
Every six months auditions
are held. for, the positions , in
"Theatre HOur".,After.,a month..
of...rehearsiq the excerpts from
chosen CaOdian plays, five new
actors will set -out to tour
Western Ontario with , a new
program.. The present "Theatre.,
Hour" haT• been- on the road
since September. '
On the whole. "Theatre llour"
was greeted with enthusiasm and
the ,students look forward to
another presentation such as
this:

On Friday, November 19, the
G.D.C,I, chessmen hosted the'
Chess Club of London South
1lighschool to a chess
tournament • in „the school
library. Our Chess Club .was
successful in its efforts to defeat
its opponents, with a final s'ort'
of ten and a half to four and a
hale.

at the Goderich and District Collegiate Institute by studentsof
the school. Taking part in and of the plays, Black Comedy, are
