The November meeting of the
afternoon Auxiliary of Knox
Presbyterian Church was held on
Tuesday November 16, with the
President, • Mrs,Ar 'Enrigtt
presiding, The pr9gramme had
been prepared by Miss Lily
Macarthur andMrs.- C.
Kalfleisch. '
After the business part of the
meeting, Miss Macarthur took
' charge of the worship period, '
, which dealt with the topic of
"Friendship." She spoke of
Abrabani, the friend of God.
'Mrs. A. H. Erskine, Mrs, J. W.
Leitch, Mts. Diggon each
. dealt with an example of
friendship. Miss Hazel
MacDonald told the story of a
Christian woman in l'aiwan.
Mrs. C. Kalbfleisch then
summarized the material in the
book, "Image arid Impact,"
dealing with the topic of mass
communication, which is now
global. She stressed that personal'
communication is important, as
we are communicating the love
of Christ.
The December meeting will ,
be held on December 7, when all
annual reports will be received.

the meeting and Mrs. Gordon
Taylor accompanied on the
accordian.

Wildwood”.• Mrs. Elmer
Trommer read * the scripture
lesson, Psalm 91 and this was
followed bY prayers led by Mrs.
John Daer. Mrs. Robert J.
Thilliphave a reading, "Daylight
and Darkness", and Mrs. Donald
Cartwright read the poem; "In
Flanders Field". The hymn,
"Blest be the tie that binds" was
sung and Mrs. Cartwright read
the missionary topic "From the
Editor's Pen" in the Living
Message. Mrs. Gordon Taylor
