I was very glad to get your

learn that Canada is selling a lot
of wheat and barley 'and other
cereals to China. From this point
we can tell that you• are able to
grow a lot and we admire that.
The main reason is that you
have nice tools. nice climate and
the manpower: I a,m sure° that
you are, satisfied with your
li ping.: .
Hope, that When 'you have
time; you will write and tell me
how you are often so that I can
.get more knowledge.
School was out in July and
the, report card has been issued; ,
but I am not, pleased with my •
grades. I have to take re-exam
for two subjects to' decide my
promotion. I aii • very shameful
that I have failed your
expectation.. When l recalled
why I could not get good grades,
T just could 'not eat and sleep
well.
Maybe one -reason .is that_my
ea is no very gooane
other reason is that I have to do
chores because we are- poor so
that I didn't have enough time
to review lessons. Moreover,, L
am often worried about my
mother because she gets sick
often. .
My father's income is meagre
and so it is hard for him to
afford the expensive medical fee.
Sometimes I jut cannot
understand, so that might have
an affect on my studyinut I
know that the poor stud nt like
me has to study or we could not
have a prospect. Therefore,•I will
work hard under any
circumstances so that I would
not become an uneducated
person. .

Linda Henry.
Mrs. Henry first introduced ,
the Oral French Program and
then had many pupils. on the
stage to,.help „demonstrate
typical clases.
Mrs. Harrison's Grade 4
learned a comical French song.
much to the amusement of ,the
audience.
Mr. Snell's class acted out a
play, "Le Picnic".
Mr. Black's Grade 8 learned
thecorrect uses of prepQsitipns.
