Cheerio- Club hear
reading by OIive Gaunt
The Cheerio Club meeting
was held Tuesday, Sept. 28 at
the home • of Mrs. Elsie
Yungblutt. The president, Ena
Howatt, • opened the meeting
with a poem; Happiness. The
hymn, "Tak& 'rime to be,,Holy"
was sung and the reading
"Grandfather me?" was, given.
Psalm 23 was read in unison. •
The minutes ' of the last
meeting ,, were read by • the
secretary, Mrs. Durnin. It was
decided to continue with ' the
draw for another year with
Jessie Jinks to provide the gift
for the Oetober meeting.
An invitation was received
from the Women's Institute to
attend its grandmothers meeting
on Oct. 13. .
The October meeting will be
held at,Dorothy Brunsdon's.
Collection was..received and
rollcall was answered by 15
members and one visitor. Mrs.,
Arie-lIkuizer, a new member, was
welcomed.
The Program followed with
readings by Olive Gaunt: "Ode

evidence such as photographs of
the state of the highways in the
area. The minister isn't stupid
and fie will appreciate a quiet
efficient presentation of ° the
needs."
