Mr.. and Mrs. ,Murray, Marsh and three children from Wyoming visited their relatives Mr. and Mrs. Parky Wiggins and Bill. Mrs. Wiggins is home after many weeks in hospital. " Mrs. Thos. Webisterbad a toe operation in Victoria hospital, London, and was able to return home on Saturday, but must remain off it for three weeks. Mrs.. Mary Rivett, Goderich,- is staying with her. - Harold Blake and Mrs. Cecil Blake spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Pentland, and Mr. and Mrs. Benson Pentland of Lond returned Saturday from two-week koliday in Quebec. Congratulationsio Mr..Brown Srnyth who had •his 80th birthday on Sunday. Brown has served this community in many capacities as a public school trustee, as a councillor of West Wawanosh for 14 years (1934-48) and Warden of Huron County in 1947. He has been a President of. the; Huron Liberal Association, and a Director of W. W. Fire Insurance Co. for 13 years with one,year as its President He is now retired, and has one brother. Bob, living in Toronto. Since the death of his sister, Mrs. Bessie Stewart,' he has resided atone in Dungannon, Brown was especially pleased when the bride and, groom of Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Doug.
