Despite the fact that Barbara Doak and Ale)c, es at Dominion Road Machinery
Corrfpany, had planned a quiet wedding ceremony for last Friday morning at Knox Presbyterian
Church, the couple was pleasantly surprised when co-workers surprised them with ari impromptu
reception immediately following the ceremony. Waiting at the church was -a brand new Champion
grader bedecked with ribbons and the bride and the groom were urged to take a spin around The
Square in their unusual wedding chariot. Behind the couple trailed an entourage of well wishers
who blew the horns on their' cars and generally had good fun. --Staff photo

from Dominion Road Machinery Company had a bit of fun and frolic outdoors. Here the ladies

Presbyterian Church, Corunna. between Janet Marie Boyle and
William George Mathieson, Rev. J. Cruickshank performed the.
' ceremony.
The' hridi, is 'the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Harry Boyle,
Corunna, and the groom is the son of Mrs, Horton Talm.ay,
Goderich, and the late George Mathiesun.
Given in marriage by her father, the ,bride wore a dotted
Swiss empire -styled gown. featured Was a mandarin collar and
full-length sleeves. Her bouffant "illusion veil was held by a

Mrs. Mar`' Jane humble, sister 'of the bride, wasrnatron of
, honor with 11rs. Bonnie •Gaw and Sharon Plain as bridesmaids.

Buchanan were ushers. •
For r 'edding• trip, the couple travelled to Northern
Ontario.
