He says his- wife ., is responsible . for getting him interested in the •first place. He used to work fdr the Soky Stables of Toronto, where he had charge of many ..2:03 and 2:04 horses. ' One that stands out is Baron Atom, horse of the year in,.1961, 'who has a four year-old mark of 2:02.0. His wife actually#:did most of the training at this Jime because Frank had had a bad spill it Buffalo and was wearing 'a cast from June till Christmas time. He then became, disinterested in racing. Better Brother in Bud's"Big Hope" in the way of racing. He is a four year-old, with a record of 2:09 established last year. Both he and Perfect . Bud is training • Better Brother at i Goderich Raceway and plans to ,drive him himself if he can draw into a race. - ' Perfect Copy is -five years old with a three year-old record of 2.11.1. William Kindon has been driving him at Raceways like • Clinton and Dresden this year. Bud and Ruth were married in 1943, and it .was in .1947 'when they got their • first horse, Eva Braden,, Bud says she wasn't 1 • anything spetacular, but she was a.start.
