Instead of the traditional veil, she wore a hand -crocheted Juliet cap and carried a spray bouquet of miniature sweetheart -roses and baby's breath. The bride wore a Persian turquoise pendant, a gift of the groom. The bride's cousin,Miss Barbara Leadbetter of Toronto was maid of honour. She wore -an ankle -length Sl, os of screen silk print in muted shades of pink and yellow. The dress had a scoop neckline, a wide, detachable collar and long full sleeves.
