auditorium, the bride changed to a pink floral crimpknit dress

The couple honeymooned in Ohio, Michigan and Northern
• Ontario. They are residing at 750 Indian Ftoad,, Sarnia.
The' guest book was in the charge of Terry Smith, brother
iof, the groom, Sarnia. Guests were present .from
Thomas, London, Sault Ste. Marie, Sarnia, Toronto, Stratford,
Parkhill, Exeter Dashwood, Fonthill and, Goderich as well as
Detroit, Michigan, Eindhoven, Holland, The Isle of Guernsey,
and Fleet, England.
The bride is a graduate ' of Victoria Hospital. School of
Nursing, London, and was recently on the staff of Alma
College, St. Thomas. The groom is' a graduate of Fanshaw
College of Applied Arts and Technology and is presently
employed, in Sarnia.
Prior to her wedding; the bride was -the guest of at -a --
buffet dinner given by the staff of Alma College at the home
« of 'Mu. G. Martin, Sparta. Showers were hosted by Mrs. Wm.
• Elliott, St. Thomas; Mrs. Arvid Nordahl, Goderich; Mrs; A.
'Lockhart ” and Mrs. P. Harrison, RR2 Goderich; and Mrs. G.

BARGH-FINLAYSON
Knox Presbyterian 'Church Chapel, Goderich, decorated
`with. an arrangement of summer flowers, was the setting for
the, wedding of Janet MacGregor Finlayson and Christopher
James B,argh ' on 'Saturday, July 3.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and, Mrs. W. Clark
Finlayson of Godefich. The groom -is -the song of Mr. and Mrs.
James Albert Bargh of St. Leonards -on -Sea, Sussex, England.
Reverend G. Lockhart Royal officiated at the double 'ring
,ceremony.
The bride chose a simply styled, slim line floor -length gown
of beige Thai silk with a short sleeved fitted jacket of Chantilly
lace. Instead of the traditional veil, she wore a hand -crocheted
Juliet cap and carried a spray bouquet of miniature sweetheart
-roses and baby's breath. The bride wore a Persian turquoise
pendant, a gift of the groom.
The bride's cousin,Miss Barbara Leadbetter of Toronto was
maid of honour. She wore -an ankle -length Sl, os of screen silk
print in muted shades of pink and yellow. The dress had a
scoop neckline, a wide, detachable collar and long full sleeves.
Her flowers were similar to the bride's in deep yellow.
Michael Huddart of London, formerly of St. Leonards,
Sussex, England was groomsman.° •
' A reception followed at Tiger Dunlop Inn.
The br'ide's mother chose a sleeveless midi -length dress of
mint green embroidered. .organza and a white gardenia purse
corsage . ,

featured a chapel train. A cluster of pearls and fabric roses
held her four -tiered veil and she carried a bouquet of pink

Goderich, who chose a floor -length gown of white lace over
pink satin. Daisies accented the empire waistline, the
neckline and the belled sleeves, She wore white satin
rosettes -in her hair and carried a bouquet of pink and white

,Crowley, Goderich, was the usher. -
T.he wedding areception was held at the Saltford Valley
Hall. The bride's mother wore a teal blue dress of knitted
polyester, white accessories and a'corsage. of,pink miniature
carnations. The groom's mother selected a three-piece pant
suit of white. and navy polyester crimp, white accessories
and a corsage of pink miniature carnations.
For 'travelling, the bride changed to a coat and dress
ensemble, of yellow, crepe and lace, white satin accessories
and a corsage of orange talisman roses.
Mr. and Mrs. Bauer are residing in the Goderich are.
A special guest at the wedding was The . bride's
grandmother, Mrs.. Robert, 'Bartley, Lion's Head. Other
guests were present from Hamilton, Brantford, London,
Waterloo, Hanover, Toronto, Meaford, Ilderton, Sarnia, St.
Marys, Simcoe and various locations in the Bruce Peninsula.
Prior to•..her marriage, the bride was feted at showers
given by Mrs. Ann Bauer and Mrs. Darlene Bauer; Mrs.
Gladys Bray and Mrs. Gerry Bartley; and sisters of the
bride, Mrs. Ruth Brindley and Mrs. Crystal Crowley.
