kindergarten' class 'at the school
with each little student wearing
a huge black scholar's hat. Their
awards were given to them by R.
M. Elliott, chairman of the
Huron County Board of
Education.

Burgess were the top boy .,and
girl respectively in the Grade 8
class and earned the_ eral
proficiency award`s ne
as well as
mint sets , donated by the Order
of Foresters, Benmiller, with the
presentations made by Mrs.
Gerry _Ginn and Mrs. Harry
Montgomery.
The SS No. ,4 Community
Club mint sets for English and
History went to Rodney Cox
and Jan Ginn respectively. Mrs.
Jim 'Lobb made the presentation
to Rodney and Mrs. Ray Bird to
Jan.
Clere-Vu Auto Wreckers
donated a mint set to Irene
Wubs who was the top Grade 8
student in geography. Glen Price
made that presentation.

Community Club mint sets went
to Henry DeGroof for
mathematics ” with Ahe
presentation made by Mrs.

Koene for Science with Mrs. Ted
Johnston making that award.

This Information Centre 'will be located in the Federal
Building; at 35 East Street, Goderich; a•d will be open to
the public for assistance in obtaining claim fon is and
information concerning payments of benefit, each Tuesday
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 and 12,45 to 3:00 p.m.
This Service Centre•;is one of many which are being located
to offset increasing needs caused, by population growth and '
changes emt odied., in the new 'Unemployment Insurance
Act. -
