On Raising
If you • want to raise your
children so they'll hate you
when you're through,
give them everything they ask
for,, never question what they
do;
Don' correct them when they're
cheeky, or their temper they'
display,
This will only hurt their feelings
and, they might just run '4.
away! , '
Let them have the ear for dating,
with your credit card for use,
Don't be harsh if you should
catch .theh'i using pot or
drinking booze;
Let them butt in while• you're_.__
talking, act as if it made you
glad; -
Be polite and just remember,
who are you? let's face it dad
Children
Just because
them and
their back;
Just because
you pay. to feed
putclothes upon
you're out there •
working while they're back
home in, the sack;' •
This may once have given reason
to exert or to complain,
But today the experts tell US*
times have changed and love
must reign.
Times have changed and that's
no fooling; -'kids are now well
out of hand.
And we parents need reminding
that it's time to take a stand.
Por if we don't change our
methods.. back -.to -4 -hat,:, -they>
used to be,
We'll have children_ in the future
worse than these ... just wait
and see!
