told members of Huron County
Council that Conestoga College
of Applied Arts and Technology
has planned courses for the
educational " develOpment for
Huron County for the coming
‘year,„.but .that: to date there are
only about 100 applications on
file from students.
"They are quite willing to go
ahead with codi•ssd but they
have no students," said
Cummings.
• Currimings reported that
about 15 courses could be made,
available t� Huron County
students including adults who
were interested in re-training for
new , jobs or, intensifying their
skills in their present. fields.

those approved by the -Canada
Manpower Training Plan to

In a brief report to council,
Heath explairied that for the
first'time in years, there is a lack
of children eligible for adoption:

available at this moment. ."
He did stress that this trend

children in care up to the age of
four years have been adopted
