LAST WEEK
Last week marked the
opening of the pool for the 1971
season.
For the ,first time, children
of. from the Oueen ' Elizabeth
School, for the • retarded
children, participated in a
swimming program, with the
younger children coming in the
morning and the older ones in
the afternoon. All the children
seemed to enjoy the water and
• the program should prove to be
a success.

in Red Cross Swimming will be
held at the pool every day from

the radar school, will direct
singing and there will be a tour
through the home. There will be
a picnic on the grounds on
Wednesday afternoon. Prizes will
be given and lunch served
strictly on the house. On
Thursday visiting 'senior citizens'
groups will put on entertainment
and ' it • is expected Raymond
Scotchmer will be there with his
bus of exhibits from the
museum at Goderich. At night
there Mill be the 'family night
program. Bingo will be played
on Friday afternoon and it is
open to the public.

Training. Plan' in the Clinton
Public Hospital Monday.

tine.
Future
employment for
graduates of the course, for the
most part will be made through
the County Health Unit as part
of its „xtensive -home care
programme, although some of
the ladies may seek employment
with private agencies.
