Rev. Fr. James Kelly officiated in St. Joseph's Roman
Catholic Church, Clinton, Saturday, May 1 for the double -ring
wedding. cerernopy at which Julia Dianne Cox became the
bride of Michael Pierre Boucher.
The church was decorated with baskets Of pink gladioli and
shasta , daisies at., the altar. Organist Mrs. Carol LeBeau
accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Molly Cox Who sang Marriage
'Hymn, Wither Thou Goest and -The Lord Is My Shepherd.
.., The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Cox, RR 2
Goderich and the groom is , the son of Mrs. Lucy Boucher,
London, and -the late Albert Boucher.
Escorted downthe aisle -by her father, the bride chose a
white floor -length , gown of silk .organza styled with a high
Victorian neckline and a full skirt gathered from an empire
waistline. Bands of guipure daisy lace and pink embroidered
ribbon accented _ate front bodice and the sheer bouffant
sleeves. A sheer butterfly train fell from the back. The bride
also 'wore a matching pillbox headpiece siniilarly trimmed with
lace and pink ribbon with a two-tiered, lace outlined French
illusion veil. Accenting the pink of th-egown,- the bride carried
a cascade bf pink rose buds and eucalyptus. ---
Mrs. Robert Millar, Galt, was the 'matron of honor. She
_wore a lime- green chiffon floor -length gown with mint green
taffeta , underdress. The gathered skirt was accented by an
empire waistline outlined in embroidered pale green florets as
were', the three -quarter -length sheer gathered sleeves and t,
stand-up collar. Pale green ribbon' bows with floretv were -
sprinkled throughout her ,hair and a bouquet of green -tinted'
daisies completed her ensemble.
Bridesmaids were Miss Elaine Townshend, RR 2 Bay field
and Miss Marilyn Cox, sister of the bride, RR 2 Goderich.
Miss Townshend was gowned identically to the matron ,of
honor in a. pink chiffon. over taffeta gown and carried
pink -tinted daisies. Miss Cox was, also gowned identically to
the other attendants irr,a pale 'yellow chiffon over taffeta gown
and carried a cascade of yellow-ti5ted daisies.
Robert /Boucher, brother of the groom, Trenton, was
groomsman. Ushers were Laurie and Kevin Cox, brothers of
the bride,' both of RR 2 Goderich.

Given in marriage by her fa her, the bride wore a
floor -length dress of white satin st led along empire lines.
Guipure lace, accented the stand-up eo lar, the skirt, the.sleeve
cuffs an formed a bib -effect on the dice. Her four -tiered
scalloped edge ---tulle veil was held ,in 4iae by a flowered.
headpiece and she carried mauve daisie centred by baby
yellow roses.
Maid of honor was Miss Betty Lynn Sh rdown, sister of
the bride. Bridesmaids were Mise 'Frances ilcox, London;
Miss Maria Htiybers, .Toronto; and Mrs. Marga et Hansen, St.
Thomas.
They were gowned alike irr ',floor -length- eep mauve
polyester crepe gown's 's featiffing daisy trim round the -
stand -kip collars, cuffs and bodices. Thy wore
floppy -brimmed open crown hats withmatching aisy trim
arld carried white daisies.
:Flowergirl Lori Harris, sister of the groom, was gowned
identicaily. to- the ,bridegmaids, Ringbearer was Scott Harris,
brother' of the groom.
Mike Bellingef, Goderich, was best man. Ushers were Sam
Sheardown,,brother'otihe bride; Bill Haggart, Port Larnbtori;
and Terry Hansen, St: Thomas.
The wedding reception was held at the Saltford Valley Hall
where the bride's mother received guests in a pink peau de soie
dress and coat ensemble with a white rosebud corsage. She was
assisted by the groom's mother in a printed nylon chiffon
dress with coat ,of green shantung and a corgage-of yellow
rosebuds. '

For travelling to ,the Poccono Mountains in Pennsylvania
the bride changed to a navy blue vested jump suit, red
accessories and a red rosebud corsage.
The couple Will reside at 5 Moore St., Port Lambton.

The bride's mother woe a coat and dress 'ensemble of
orange fee linen shantung accented by a white veil, shoes and
purse and a corsage of yellow rose buds. The mother
wore a grey and blue print silk sheath, matching. pale blue
, linen coat, grey and blue print hat, black patent handbag and • -
shoes and a corsage of yellow, rose buds.
The bride's travelling costiume was a two-pleceensemble of
natural crimp knit with three -quarter -length tailored jacket,
with buckled self, belt -and an A-line skirt, a scarf in. brOWn
• tones, matching shoes and purse in brown- wet look and a ,
corsage of Nellow rose buds.
„Following a .wedding trip to Niagara Palls, Trenton and
points East, the young couple took up" residence at 1223
Richmond St. N., London.
Prior to her marriage, the bride was feted at showers for her
fellow -workers at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in
the home of Mrs. Norah, Profit; for neighbors at the home of
Miss Elaine Tow.nshend, and for cousins at the home of Mrs.
Estelle Wise, and Miss Pat Wise, an aunt and cousin of the
bride.
