Talentedartist to teach

artists and others are in for a
rare treat with the visit of Kim
Ondaatje to the Art Club, Studio
on Caledonia Terra e -at- North
Street.

Kim is an artist of great talent
and has worked hoer way up the
hard waV. ,.
Born in II'orontO;
' she
graduated frccti,n.n Havergat
College, . attended Ontario
College of Art, for a year,
transferring to eine Arts ' at
'McGill U,piversity. She has her
B,A. in Hcmik. ,; Engti h,, ..went:
on to, .her _ KA. in _English 'at
Queen's, where she also taught.
Besides Queen's, she taught at
Waterloo' Lutheran and
Sherbrooke University.
She has worked as an" editor
on the_ Northern Review, Quarry
and ' other journals; edited -
manuscripts for her poet
husband, was deeply . involved
with probing creative attitudes
of university life besides coping
with a young farri'ily.
In 1966 Kim began to
re -discover her artistic_ talent and
plunged wholeheartedly into a
definite work schedule in her
