Fairbrook Farm at RR 1 Drumbo was the scene .March ,27
for the double -ring wedding. ceremony at which Robert Brian
Bailey, Kitchener, -took- Nancy Michele Hamilton, also , of
Kitchener and formerly of 231 Bayfield Rd,, Goderich, as his
bride.
•Pink'and-white carpations • decorated 'the fireplat'e in the
farmhome for the candlelight service conducted by, Mr. Brown
and Rev, Martin of Drumbo and Innerkip respectively.
. The bride is the daughter of Mrs, George Hamilton, 132
MacHardy Court, Brampton, and Mrs. George Bailey, 124
Samuel Street, Kitchener, is the mother of the, groom.
Given in marriage by her brother,•John Ifamilton, the bride
Wore .4-41.00r4ength,44nli-: ilk-w,eddirst; gown trimmec•`...with
white lace and featuring short,sleeves. a Victorian •stand-up
collar and pink ribbons cascading fr,c>nl the back; of the dress to
the floor. Her wide -brimmed .pink hat•was touched with white
flowers and she carried p'i.nksroses and white carnations.
She was attended, by Mrs, Charles Foran of Fairbrook
Farm. Mrs. Foran wore a 'mauve floor -length. 'dress of satin
with a Victorian stand-up collar. She carried a bouquet of ,pink
roses and whits carnations.
Charles Foran, also of Fairbrook Farm, was the best man.
. The bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with •white lace
trim and- a' corsage of pink ,roses. The groom's mother chose a
yellow dress and a corsage of white roses.
For a wedding trip to Quebec City, the bride travelled in an
off -White. wool suit and a corsage,of y.c•Ilo• rises.
„` The couple is residing in Kitchener,
Wedding guests attended from Toronto Kitchener and
Goderich.

pews, was the setting for the marriage of Sharon Diane Wagner
and Gary -Thomas Austin on Saturday, March 20..•
The bride is the daughter,'of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wagner of
• Lucknow and the groom is the son of Mrs. Harold Austin and
the late M - Austin of Lucknow.
Rev. Glenn Noble officiated at the double ring ceremony,
assis''i`ed 'by Rev. James Austin of Wells., New York, uncle of
the groom. ' -
Given in marriage by' her father, the bride, wore,a white
floor -length gown. of polyester crepe with lily -point sleeves_'
Guipure lace. trimmed the front of gown and attached traits.
Her four tier shoulder -length veil was held by a headpiece of
tiny white flow?rs: She carried a bouquet of yellow roses and
• white carnations fron which fell yellow streamers• with yellow
rosebuds. •
. Dolores Whitby of Lucknow'was.maid of honor. She wore a
sleeveless purple gown of chiffon' over taffeta with ' ruffled
front and neck. Her .headpiece was' ribbon entwined through
curls in her hair. She carried a yellow rose with ,yellow
-streainers.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Ronald Austin c`if Goderich,
sister-in-law of the groom and. N:lisses 'Dbrothy and Dona
4L,Wagner of Lucknow, sisters of the •bride: Their dresses and
flowers were the same as the maid of honor's.
Darlene Wagner' of. Woodstock, niece of the bride, was
flower,. girl.- She wore a floor -length gown of white brocade
with purple trim and carried a basket of yellow rosebuds, and
white babv'mums. °
Steven Austin of Goderich, nephew of the groom was ring
bearer.
Robert Austin of ( wen. Sound, brother of the groom', was
groomsman. Ushers 'were Carl and: Clifford Wagner., both of
Woodstock, brothers' °of the .bride and Ronald l Atfstin of
Goderich, brother of the.groom. •Q• r °
reception ,followed at the Lucknow Parish hall, which
was•decorated with yellow candles and yellow carnations.
The bride's mother wore 'a green and white coat dress
ensemble, black veil hat and corsage of yellow carnations. The
groom's mother wore a'blue jacket dress ensemble, blue hat
and tinted blue carnation corsage. .
For travelling the bride chosea navy knit; pant suit.
The couple is residing in Lucknow, where the groom is
employed at Montgomery 'Motors. The bride was formerly
'with Richardson Securities of.Canada, London.
Prior to- her marriage the. bride was honoured at- two
miscellaneous showers, one given by Miss Dolores Whitby and
one by Mrs. Ronald Austin•and Mts. Robert Austin.

Allen, Goderich; exchanged wedding 'vows and rings with
David Albert, Brereton, son of Mrs.'Ross Cummings, Goderidh,
and the late A. L. •Brereton. -
Rev.. Lockhart Royal officiated at the ceremony in Knox
Presbyterian' Church which was decorated with white gladidli,
red tulips, daffodils and purple iris.
Organist was Jim McArthur. Other special wedding music
was -supplied • by 'Tom and Sally McLean, Cornwall, a -nephew -
and neice of the groom who played a violin duet.
.Escorted to the altar' by her father, the bride chose a
full length empire-wzttstecl .wedding gown with a fitted,. bodice,
gat hered,Y4i-eank1-, cull; wrist -length sleeves •of, moire.. A cape �w
with a full hood, also of moire, accented the gown. She carried
a bouquet of orange roses.
'leather Alien, sister of the bride, wore a floor-length•A-line
polyester crepe gown. She carried a bouquet of dried coral
mity flowers, purple starflowers and buff baby's breath.
• Bridesmaids Mrs. Carolyn Wilkin, London, and Miss
. Margaret Salmon.; Exeter, were similarly gowned.
Neices of the •groom, Miss Nancy 'McLean, Cornwall, and
Miss Connie Goodwin, Sudbury, were dressed alikein coral
polyester crepe empire -waisted gowns with frills at the 'bottom
hems andtied with purple ribbon.
(Groomsman was Robert Willis', Goderich. Usherswere Gary
Allen and Brian Allen, both of Goderich.
• The rabies at. the Candlelight Restaurant and Taverriwhere
the wedding • reception was held Were centred with pink
('andles' and pink and purple dried flowers. •
The bride's mother• chose a crimplene ,coat dress of 'pink
•\% ith navy accessories -'and a corsage of white roses. The
groom's .Mother wore a powder '.blue coat and dress with a •

A trousseau tea was held in March with the bride's mother'
as hostess, Tea was poured by 'Nb -s. William Stewart, -
grandmother of the bride, and Mrs: Rena Bloomfield; aunt of
the groom. •
After the wt`clding rehearsal, a buffet party was hosted -by'
Mr.. and \1rs. IT $ss Cummings. • •
