ring ceremony. Traditional wedding music was -played by the,
bride's aunt Mrs. James Lobb with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Martin
Elmira, singing, the.M`.`Wedding Prayer" and '`0 Perfect Love"
during the ceremony. •
The bride, . given in:marriage by her father; wore a floor
length' gown of ivory re -embroidered lace,,over shrimp pink,
with a shoulder -length' ' veil caught with ivy and
lily -of -the -valley. She carried a bouquet of sweetheart Loses
and lily-of-the=Valley: - Her • attendant, ---Miss, _Esther. Martin,
Kitchener, wore moss green polyester satin trimmed with gold
• braid and. -green velvet ribbon. Yellow, and green velvet bows.:
adorned her hair and she carried a bouquet of yellow mums.
The groomsman was Mr: Elmer Martin, Elmira, brother of'
the groom mid the ushers were, the bride's youngest brother,
Mr. Gordon Lobb, Clinton and Mr. Willis Bauman, Waterloo,
A candle Ceremony and signing of the register took place in

(Are They Dangerous?)
Almost every year a new toy
or, game is iss led in 'stores
throughout our. province. Last•'
year's fad was- the footsie, this
year it's *a klacker. -This toy is
rather fun, if we might say, but,,
Zoo the other hand, are, or could ,
they- be, quite dangerous?- Please

For her wedding trip the bride wore a beige and brown

as well as a humorous -skit by four of, the new Mrs. Martin's
brothers.'In"th"eir'concluding song brother Gordon, joined them
in wishing the couple every" happiness. The programme
" concluded with Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Martin singing "Thankful
He 'Gave Me You," and all singing "God 'Will Take Care of

are two hard, clear, plastic balls
attached -to ' a' string on a ring.
Many chil-den are playing with
them in. our,,,`school "yards,. in an
effort to beat their competitor4.
The object of the game is to 'see
how long you camp one off the
other. This can be done in
several ways, depending on the
.rules made or set up at each
school. When playing, these balls
often get ' chipped or cracked
with normal use. The point,, is,

On the night of March 23, the
third 'meeting of the. Goderich
4-H Club was held at the home
of Mrs. S. Mcllwain. .
The meeting was started with
the 4-H pledge., Collection was
taken. The feeintites were read by
Brenda T uripson.
The girls discussed ' the
handout sheets which were
about putting,.tbe pattern on the
fabric, stay -stitching and cutting
Out the pattern.
Mrs. Porter, Cheryl Bell and
Mrs. Mcllwain demonstrated
how to measure, put pattern ori
material and how to mark darts{.
with ,a tracing wheel and paper.
On the night'of March 29, the
fourth meeting.,Af the Goderi.clj
4-H Club was held at the home
of Mrs. S. McIlwain. '
The minutes were read by
Carolyn Porter. - Members
discussed the handout .,"sheet
which was about darts. It was on
how to sew, press . and mark
carts. They also' talked about
joining seams and gathers, such
as in 'a sleeve.
Cheryl Kotyk demonstrated
how to mark darts on the fabric.
During the past' two months,
eight meetings of the Helping
Hands were held The -"members
had' he opportunity to make St.
Valentine's, and St. Patrick's day
into parties.
• Hearts and flowers' were in
, profusion and shamrocks galore.'
Then the hunting for hearts, 'and
the wearing '`o' the Green.
Special" prizes were awarded for
the occasion.'
The members received many
prizes froifi: the London winter
show for entries" that had,been
sent. One .entry was on display
for a month*. Visits"were made,
good deeds accomplished, aid
was given in missionary work
overseas, arid - to crippled
children"s work. .and a local
project was accomplished.
