The question arose over a request two weeks ago from a taxj company requesting' .perinission to install meters in his cabs. . - At last week'sjsession another taxi operator, William Swan, 'gave connei.lmembers his side of the.story. AW'4"ro.w.A mak, "According to the paper they want these meters installed in taxis," Mr. Swan said. Slides were shown of residents taking part in various activities such as birthday parties, Christmas concert, Halloween and the- annual he .annual bazaar. Kinettes, Marie' Jefferson, Jbyce Van Riesen, Bev. Riley, Jean Jewitt, Carol Bowker, Barbara Norman led a sing song and served the cookies to the residents, " A lively musical program was prgserited for the residents by the Jolly' Millers of Benmiller on' Thursday Family Night.
