We began our meting of
March, ,311 with a ame of
"Bridges", which we haven't
played very often and really
enjoyed. •• • :
After our opening
, • ceremonies, we divided ' into
three groups. . Our newest
Tweenie was learning about..the
Brownie Promise, Law and'
" Motto. The younger Brownies
• were busy learning how to set a
table correetly. After a* bit of

for plates, cups, spoons, etc.,
with magnets 'on strings. ltivas a'
race to see who could set their
places first.
After -ou-r opening
ceremonies, ,we divided -into• ,

The ybunger Brownies were

correctly': After a bit of practice,
they had fug "fishing" for
plates, cups, --Spoons, etc., with
magnets on strings. It was a race
to -see who could set their places
first, •
Our older Brownies- were off
in a'''...orner finding out how to
read a compass.' They watched
• Packie demonstrate how a
magnetized needle will point
north if itis laid on a piece -of
cork in a dish. of water. Then
they made their own compasses
of cardboard to help Ahern
practice what they 'had, learned-.
Our Packies (Sandy •Freeman
, • and Cindy Fisher) are older Girl
Guides' who come to help Brown,
Owl at meetings and we surely(
Marie Bolton showed us the
scrapbook for • her World
. Friendship badge and the poem
and story for he Writer's bade..
Tracy Sitter brought some
coins from other places and
' Linda Best had some very good
bean plants she had grown from
'tbean seeds.
$Usan Goodwin showed us a
• real cotton ball still on the plant
that Mrs. McCreath gave hettand
Kirnmy • Brady brought
Woodworker's badge,:
We gave a Grand Howl for the
seven girls going up to Guides on
Wednesday and then they gave
their friends in the pack a Grand
Howl in return! •
• -We" closed our Meeting by
singing Taps.
