Ltd., a firm whose main function is the rendering of dead livestock. "It is, unfortunate that the town hadn't made their previous offer, earlier," a spokesman'forr the Country Club said, "but officials of the rendering plant made us an offer that was too attractive to turn down. The spokesman could not, give further details on the construction of the plant, nor did he say the agreement had been given .the approval of town fathers. The letter from Barker stated that three or four accidents had already taken place at that cvnrner. As well there had been "so many almosts." The 'matter was' referred to the public works committee of which Councillor Ed Giesbrecht is chairman. Councillor Stan Profit opined that it would be "an exercise in futility" to request that his committee, the Traffic and Safety committee, handle the matter. DuIIQpIIn Changes Hands. Tiger Dunlop Inn, on Highway '21 at Dunlop, is soon to change hands. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kaiting, who ,Have operated the Inn for more than 15 years, announce its sale to Dr. R. G. Lomas, 55 South Street, Goderich. Once the home of Anthony Allen, Dunlop innkeeper, it is to become a residence again, when Dr. Lomas takes over about the end of August. He will continue *practice in Godericlit.
