HARNESS RACING - BY SNOOPY I
Suddenly spring is here! Everyone is jogging and working their
horses so that they will be ready for the summer meet: Even the
trackman put several loads --of screening on the track to make it in
perfect -shape. As time goes by they keep adding more. -
Many horsemen had. problems this week with the water erruption.h,
The east barns were flooded quite badly fora couple days, but with
the help of a few men and Worsell's pump It was cleared away in no
time: '
A' visit to the- Jeffrey barn caused me to find busy Ray getting
Mary Glenford back into shape. Advice on this is obtained from
father Bob and brother Larry.
„N..," Raceway officials ' are planning a locally sponsored,' nightly;
featured race. Already response has been gratifying:
' Hope to have more to report.next week!
