Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Fred Larsen, 91 Lighthouse Street,
this past week were Eskimo bush pilot Markoosie and his wife
Zipporah. "Markoosie is one of three Eskimo pilots to have
received his flying training at Sky Harbour. He is presently
employed by • Atlas Aviation; stationed, at Resolute Bay.
Markoosie's duties are with air-sea rescue and in his spare time
he has been able to write two books. "Harpoon of the Hunter.'' 1`
is the first of his books to be published,'. For the past two
weeks, Markoosie 'attended the Sportsman's Show in New'
York City on a 'promotion jaunt for the Canadian 'North.
