Thursday morning, at last,
everyone was able to leave the
school. Mrs. Brisbane 'dropped _

the town of Exeter, less than ten
miles from 'where she had been a
`prisoner' -for three days. • She•

hill to her home.
The miles between Exeter and
Mrs. Brisbane's home in Clinton
seemed Much longer than usual. •
