At this' Christmas meeting our Membership ' Convener, Mrs. MacEwa,i Egener,' " presented seven members who received their 25 -year pins, The reading of a, Scottish Highland poem, 'Lord Olin's Daughter' was accompanied, by the deliberate over -acting of a group of members (appropriately costumed) with hilarious results. Each meeting has ' been informative, educational and -,very\ enjoyable — followed by lively, informal discussion or many subjects over a cup•of tea, ••We•-eacir'give a small donation at every meeting to cover the cost of the lunch and 'the balance is used for cards and flowers for Members who are ill or bereaved. The • 'Tea' Committee is appointed for the year and this reliable group has been in charge oaf refreshrr't'ents for regular meeting and the Citizenship Court Receptions.
