We had little groups spread all
around the room at,tbis meeting
arid all were doing something
different. Some girls were
preparing tea and toast, some
were skipping, parcels were
.wrapped, knitting needles were
clicking again and some were,
- learning about Brownies.. "
We were .veary. pleased to have
a, new Tawny ' Owl, Mrs.
Schweitzer; join us and also a ..
new- Tweenie and Sherry, and
Kelly, two Brownies from
Stratford.

The Brownies' opened their
meeting with the Fairy Ring.
Then we had inspection; first,
the Sixers- inspected their' ,Six'
and then Brown Owl inspected
all the Brownies. Then we
collected Fairy Gold and camp
fund money.
We had Pow Wow to show the
work -we had,done-•and.see tthings.

We divided into two -groups;
the , older Brownies • were
planning a little puppet play
while the new Brownies learned
'how to skip backwards ,. and
frontwards.

late Robert Smyth and Susanna
Baidrow. She is survived by two n,

predeceased by' two brothers, W.
J. (Bill) Smyth, and A. 'B.
Smyth, and one sister Sarah Ida
(Smyth) Brigham.
The funeral service was held
at 2 p.m. on -Thursday, Vebruary
4, 1971 from the MacKenzie
Memorial. Chapel • in Lucknow
