Pat,p3aker, the organist at St. George's Anglican -Church, does a masterful job -of accompanying
tide Gilbert and Sullivan operetta 'Trial By Jury" being presented this weekend by the Goderich •
• Little Theatre group. His performance at the piano provides just the right background_for the
delightful comedy which should keep theatre goers happy from start to finish. (staff photo)

One of the best features of the Goderich Little Theatre's production of Trial By Jury is the male
chorus. This photo gives an illustration of the vivid portrayal each member lends to the
performance as they shout out to the court for justice for the poor wretched heartbroken bride
left at the altar, Mrs. Roy B. Dunlop. (staff photo)

The bridesmaids get into the act during the GLT's performance of Trial By Jury. Their
performance lends color and comedy to the show. Notice how the judge (W, G. Cochrane) enjoys
their antics' and trys"to get their attention by waving his handkerchief at them. The bridesmaids are
(from the left) Joan Stiles, Betty Rodgers and Eleanor Robinson. (staff photo)

Brian Markson gives a creditable performance as the attorney in the Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta
Trial By Jury.'Brian has an excellent voice and terrific diction which combine to bring welcome
rapport with the audience. Mrs. Roy B. Dunlop as the jilted lady shows her talent for the stage,
moving easily and confidently throughout the entire operetta. (staff photo)

The ladies' chorus in Trial By Jury is very colorful, not only irr
costumes but in the delightful way each member portrays her
role. The ladies are the proverbial tittering, tearful 'females
which can't really make up their minds from witness to witness.
Out front is the playboy reluctant groom (Glen Lodge) who
clainv he wouldn't make suitable husband.for the lady in
question. (staff photo)

Augustus Does His Bit has only three performers but each
member bf the cast gives a fine performance in the short, very°
English comedy which starts off the Goderich Little Theatre's
fall show. Left to right are Mark Russell, Mrs. Beth nllarhsan and.
Rev. Garwood Russell who plays Augustus. It's fun, especially i#
you enjoy looking for the humor in a sketch. (staff photo)
