First Baptist Church, Goderich, was the scene October 24

Mrs. Helen McKenzie, sister of the groom, Kincardine, was
organist for the double -ring ceremony. Rev. Arthur' Maybury

lace over bridal taffeta. The fitted bodice was of chantilly lace.

The wedding reception was held at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Ernest Porter,.: Goderich..
Miss Ruby Clark, an aunt of the bride, Toronto, received
the guests. She wore a purple dress, black accessories and a
corsage of pink carnations. She was assisted by the groom's
mother in a navy fortrel dress and a pink carnation corsage.
The bride's going -away ensemble was a gold crimp -knit
dress, brown accessories and a corsage of yellow pompom
'daisies and red roses.
The couple are residing in Kincardine.
Prior to her marriage, the bride was the guest of honour at a
shower at ,th'e home_of Mrs. Mary Cote, Goderich. She was also
feted at 'a shower at the home of Mrs.' Helen McKenzie, sister
of the groom, Kincardine.

workshop on "Communication
With Youth:"
After registration, morning
-devotions, were conducted by
the rector, Rev. G. G. Russell.
Prayers were offered for the
families of Mr. Cross and Mr. La
Porte.

for the singing of tvWo hymns.
Words of welcome were
extended by Mrs. L. Pilgrim,
Cargill, ° the Deanery ACW
president, and Mrs. E. F. Sale,
the Goderich ACW president,

the morning by Rev. J. H.,
Jenkins of Gorrie parish and he
posed questions to be answered
in the group discussions which
followed.
Guests brought their own box
lunches while dessert and
beverage was provided by St.
George's catering group under
the direction of Mrs. Alma
Bassett.
Mrs. Pilgrim conducted a
short . business meeting • in the
afternoon. The • secretary -
treasurer's reports were read by
Mrs. Don Middleton, Clinton.
Each parish in the Deanery is
to hold a Quiet Day April- 1,
1971, while Fordwich parish will
hold the Spring Deanery
Meeting.
A second film on honesty was
viewed in the afternoon
followed by group discussion.
A panel of six young people
gave their views on the
generation gap. Lively discussion'
took place between the audience
and panel participants. The
moderator was Rev. J. H.
Jenkins, Gorrie.
A welcome cup of tea brought
the day to a close. Rev. John
Swan, Hanover, gave the closing
Benediction. .
It was the hope of the
Deanery executive that the
clergy and ladies of South
Saugeen benefited .by the
'discussions on "Communication
With Youth" and returned home
with ansight into dealing with
youth. '

A very interesting cultural

Margaret Craig. Margaret
illustrated her topic with

- was served by the hostess.
