Productions Company, is to put on plays for people's enjoyment. Their executives are: production Taf Graham and Margo Bettger; technical 4director, Brian-D`unlop;. company stge managers, Sue Dunlop and Db ble MacDonald; Assistant clirectoVOreg Markson; wardrobe mistress, Linda Reinhart; property, Kathy Russell; advertiser, Jan ,utherland. Head over the Company is Mr. W. Robinson. " Last * summer G.D.C.I.'s wardrobe mistress, Lynda Reinhart travelled with the Ontario Youth Theatre Summer Company, She also helped with Ptile wardrobes on her tour. . The group of young people travelled to Orillia, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay, Toronto, Waterloo and Ottawa. They left on July 3 and their last performance was Sept. 5. • There, were about 84 young people involved in the play BABEL and about 15 adults. The play BABEL was the Ontario Youth Theatres' first production. The production company at bG.D.C.I. is planing, an assembly November 16, called Miss Julie. Itis about one hour long and the characters include Sherry Moore, Brian „ Dunlop and Margo • Bettger. Later on they hope to ...present a play .called The Wheel. tnis is a Canadian play. The members of the production company' are planning exchange trips with Brantford and London. Donnybrook The November meeting of the U.C.W. was held Thursday afternoon at the _home of Mrs. Sam Thompson with a good attendance. The theme was "A song in the night." Mrs. William Hardy was in charge assisted by Mrs. Alfred Fry. "All the way My Saviour leads me" was sung and Psalm 724 was read in unison. Mrs. • .Morley Johnston led in prayer. . Mrs. Hardy gave the meditatiob. Mrs. Stuart' Cliamney read the poem "A song in the night.r After singing "Will your anchor hold." Mrs. Fry took charge of the topic "Are there windows in Mrs. Margaret Leddy gave a reading "He was better to me than all my hopes." Mrs. Hardy, had eharge of the business. Miss Donna Chamney returned home Saturday from Wingham and District Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Campbell of London and Mr. and Mrs. Don Jefferson, Cheryl and Susan of Clinton visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jefferson. Mr. A. Fry of Auburn anil Atha! Bruce of Belgrave visited recently at the same home. Mr. Bill Robinson of London spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Robinson and family. The tackle ... Their competitors were the chess club members of the South London High School. — The_ final score was S. London Mr., Hal, the club's staff advisor says, "The boys made an exceptional showing. Both the stage and concert bands performed for two ninety minute concerts.
