'The' fhst`. prhduetion of the
Goderich Little Theatre, this
,season will be Gilbert Rid
Sullivan's Trial 'By Jury.
The east of players will be
under the direction 'of .Brian
Markson who also will be
playing the part of Counsel . for
the Defence. it consists of such
notables as. Marj—Dunlop of
Barnaby, "`the last musical
presented by the .group. And this
Fore, unlike Barnaby, will be in
the voice range of the ,talented
singer. She stepped in !at the last
moment in Barnaby and did an
outstandingjob of .keeping to
the score even though there
been time to change it to
her range.There is no such
problem with Trial by Jury.
Bill Cochrane will be the
Judge .and is making it into a real
fun role; Glen Lodge ,(who else?)
is the dastardly, defender.
Another member of the cast
and one that the Goderich Little
Theatre is pleased to have been
able to obtain, is George Coll, of
Clinton Brigadoon and Pirates of
Penzance fame. This will be his
first venture in the GLT scene
and is expected to add an extra
professionaltouch to an already
professional polish. •
Mr. Markson said -this week
the GLT is particularly pleased
to have been able to acquire the
services of Paul Baker, a
newcomer to Goderich, who is
organist at, St, George's Anglican

One sure sign that winter' is fast approaching is when owners of, small craft kept at Snug Harbour
during the summer months start to have them lifted from the water to be made ready for winter.
The Taurus, owned by Fred 'Fester, Goderich, was lifted last week and has since' been given a
winter cover. There, still are a few small craft left in, but with winter, coming on fast.and cooler
weather here, it is expected the last of the boats will be out within the next few weeks. The
