The Goderich Little Theatre is
in rehearsal at The, Barn and
once again this year their first
production will include music.
Gilbert and Sullivans' Trial by
Jury will form the'second half of
the show. This choral
masterpiece pokes fun at.. the
judicial system and in particular
at the age old suite for damages
for breach of promise of
marriage.
One of the famous choruses is
called "the dilemma." The Little
Theatre Group had a dilemma of
their own. It would appear that
Goderich Ladies are willing and
able to come out and sing but
not so Goderich men. Hbwever,
Clinton and Exeter have
responded ,very well. "It would
- be nice to see just two or three
more gentlemen from Goderich
to swell the chorus," a local
member remarked. ,
The main .roles are to. be sung
by Bill Cochran (Judge) Marge
Dunlop .(Plaintiff) Glen Lodge
(Defendant) George Cole
(Usher) and Brian Markson
(Counsel). -.-
