The football team has been working out 'nightly since the start of school and were joined this week by the- soccer teams, under coaches -NW Howe and Ed Redman, getting, ready for their schedule.. Yesterday (Wednesday) -the first, assembly was held. It took the form of a "spirit assembly" with the introduction of the football teamsand"some p'ractice for the students at cheering the - school cheers. It also served as a time to demonstrate , the dress that will beoworn by the grade niners on initiation day which is tomorrow (Friday). Student Council president Al Drennan addressed the assembly outlining the plans and objectives which the Council has for the coming year. He was born in Colborne Vow't hip and attended S.S. No. 3 • Colborne, and Goderich high school. - He was married to Lena B. Hamilton ' August 3, 1910.
