The new contest is known as the "C.T,C, Bluewater Area Tournament" and has been sponsored by the Wingham, Seaforth, Exeter and Goderich Canadian Tire Corporation Stores. Entries were received from London, Seaforth,, Clinton; . Wingham and Lucknow, with the Goderich Club matching the invading rinks man for man. This new contest involves . the 'defending of a new trophy, plus. • the capturi-rg and sharing of six unique prizes, consisting of : a total value of $150 worth of' C.T.C. cash bonus certificates. An outstanding three gaine display of fine bowling gave the G oderich rink of Walt Westbrook and Earl Allison first.:. possession of the new trophy, plus' the top prize bundle of $50 woith of certificates.. One of the boaters clung to the craft. Jim. Straughan, 15, managed fa bring a second man to shore with the aid of a surf board. The remaining two men were drowned before assistance could reach them. Mr. Straughan and „,other members of the Fuller family dived to re (over the bodies.
