Although. the Victorians won by a score of 4-0 it was not a true indication ofthe play as. the Cherubs played a fine game and with a little bit more experience~ will make their presence felt before the soccer season ends, whether members of the club or not. It's a lot of fun and no real experience is needed. to take part,,! .Thanks- to Jack Elder for acting as a safety stake boat. er starts The play opened with a lot of midfield work and it was not until ". halfway in the first period the Vics took the read with a fine goal by Brian Thomson, The second period was fought at a very fast pace and the Vics, through continued pressure, scored three more goals, Kevin Such kept the score down with some fine saves, even saving a penalty shot. Taking the game all over it augurs well for the soccor season. Once again we would like to see the Mons and Dads come and see this fine game of soccbr. Goal scorers Brian Thomson 2, Don Bedour 2. I Boats strung out in a line very" quickly Sunday at the start of ,the first race`of the recently formed Blue Water Sailing Club.
