FIRST GODERICH BROWNIES
We quickly ran through our
"game,tirne this week and straight
into "ceremonies". The
Brownies "word hopped" a
Spring flower, then went on to
craft and made a gift for
Mother.
Using 'three -pint plastic
containers (spray painted on top
to hide the name 9f the
contents), the girls then arranged'
patterns with "jewels" and glued
them on. Both Leaders were
very pleased with the finished
articles since- they hadn't
realized just how very
imaginative young minds are.
.I'm . sure the mothers were all
delighted with their gifts. ,
Pow Wow time.,came around
very quickly and we discused an
upcoming trip, then closed with
Brownie Prayers.
SECOND GODERICH

Friday was so warm and

flowers, and bows. Original
verses were written within to
express their personal feelings.
On Saturday, May 9, Pack 4
had a' wonderful outing on the
property of Mr. S. - C.

mothers (Mrs. Horton and Mrs.
Kloss)° and the Pack's new
Tawny . Owl (Mrs. Pat Mason)
drove • the 14 girls to their
destination.
The• Brownies were divided
into three groups and then each
team left for a really enjoyable
nature walk. They quickly
accumulated a pretty good
variety of "nature things"
(including a rabbit's tail!) which
the Pack plans to use to make a
large picture project at their
next meeting.
Each girl had her lunch with
her 'anti Brown Owl gave them a
dessert and a drink, and the
happy afternoon was topped off
with a marshmallow -roast before
