Spring officially arrived at
First Baptist Church Saturday,
April 11 when the ladies of the
Florence Pletsch Mission Circle
held their annual spring tea and
'bake sale.
Much of the success of this
venture may be -attributed_ to
Mrs. William Barlow, who was
convener this 'year. Her ability '
,and::charm.,kept each..committee

.The Church basement was
-tastefully decorated with spring
vice-president of the Circle and
Mrs. Lloyd Ferguson, a member
of the, hirza Lewitt, afternoon
Mission Circle, poured tea.
The guests were graciously
served afternoon -tea by six
young ladies;' Mrs: Eugene
Bender, Mrs. Edward Brissette,
„Miss Brenda - r3Brissette, Mrs.
Harold Chase, Mrs. Wayne Muck,
and Mrs. E. Sallows.
The Bake- table is'- always . a
: opuuiar:::spot. :and this' yeel-was
-no 'exception. Mrs. Claude
Sinclair, and Mrs. Don McMillan
were kept busy selling home
baked bread, cookies, pies, and
tarts. _
These two ladies were assisted,
at the .candy table by two
ten-year old Christian Crusaders,
Miss . Jody Brissette, and Miss
Eleanor McMillan. -
The Florence Pletsch Mission
,Circle sponsors this youth group
and by helping, these tvtio girls
were saying thank you 'to . the
ladies for .their _,.support „and •
:interest.. in-- the: ...Christian
Crusaders.
