Several.. Goderich skaters
participated 'in the inter -club
competition at Clinton in
December.
Rusty ` Ormandy passed his
preliminary figures at" Stratford
during the Winter School.
Many local club members
attended Winter School in
December at Stratford and are
planning f o attend the, Spring
School held in Stratford.
• An added attraction for the
club this year was the Candyland
float -for the Christmas parade:

artistically assembled the
attractive float, which won first
prize in . the youth 'group
-
di�csion.

R. Chapman designed and
constructed the set, Mrs, Wm.
Schaefer assisted, with the
drapes,
.Mothers and -volunteers spent
many hours making the 40 pant
suits worm by the skaters jf the '
number "Freeway Panic."
Without the assistance of the
advertisers; St. .John -Ambulance
and the energetic volunteers the
successful icy show could not.

There were 83 badges awarded
to power skaters, 249 to junior
skaters, 39 to senior and
intermediate skaters; .
Mrs. Marion Mills was in
'charge -of 'awarding the trophies
and congratulated each skater on
behalf of the club.
