Goderich Conklin Lumber
Juveniles played last Wednesday
evening, ins Tillsonburg and lost
the .first game of the -semi-final
0.M.H.A. playoffs 8-2. Two
busloads of fans made the trip
down to Tillsbnburg to see this
'first game. The score and game
would have been a lot closer` if
the O.M.H.A: had picked better
referees.
Saturday, evening at the
Goderiehm`Memorial arena' the
•
second game of the series was to
start' at 8 p.m. but did not get
going until 9.45 due to the fault
of the 0.M.H.A. not appointing
referees. Both team coaches and
managers agreed to play the
game with local ` referees and
Jack Meriam and Ken Crawford
were contacted in Clinton as
they were scheduled to officiate
at a game in Clinton. Many
thanks to thesereferees for
corning to the reseue.

LEAGUE ACTION
Not many of us these days
want to take an active part or
get involved as this was shown at.
a Goderich Minor Hockey
Association meeting which was
held on March 3 at the Goderich
arena. •
The purpose of this general
meeting was for the election of
officers for the 1970-71 season.
The lack of attendance and
the problem, no parents or very
few want to get involved or
volunteer their services to- help
the kids in minor hockey, simply
means no organized. minor
hockey in'Goderieh:- .
Presiddnt . Gord Crawford
announced that the next general
meeting (Q.M.H.A.) will be held
,at the Goderich arena on March
1? at 8:00 p.m.
This . will be for election. of
new officers for the 1970-71
