milk, and mix quickly to make a
soft dough. Turn on to lightly
floured board and knead 4, or 5
times. Roll out to about 34 -inch ki

1 2 cup chopped onion

1 pound minced beef

1 14 -ounce can whOle kil 2 cup whole kernel corn

mushroom soup

Saute Onions in -melted fat -
until tnsparent, then add beef
and brown, Season with salt and
pepper. Arrange layers of rice,
beef and Vegetables in a greased
casserole. Combine mushroom
soup with tomatoes and pour
over top.' Cover and bake at 350
deg. F, 2dminutes. Uncover,
sprinkle , with buttered bread
• crumbs: Refurn to oven and
continue •baking until lightly
browned - (About 1-5. -rnitiUtes
longer). 6 servings. ,
1 10 -ounce can condensed cream
tomato soup ,
Saute onions in fat until
transparent, then add._ meat and
brown (5 to 8 minutes). Stir in ,
remaining ingredients and heat.
Pour over casserole,

1/4 cup milk •

34 clip honey
2 cups allpurpose flour
4 teaspoon cloves
teaspoon cinnamon
teaspoon nutmeg
teaspoon salt -
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup unsweetened - applesauce
1 cup seedless raisins
Cream butterpgradually beat
in honey. Sift dry 'ingredients
and add alternately with
applesauce to creamed mixture.
° Stir in raisins. Tern into greased
8 -inch square pan and bake at
350 deg. F until top springs back
when pressed lightly (40 to 45
minutes). Spread cake with
frosting while still warm. •and

1/3 cup honey,
14 teaspoon cinnamon
1,4 cup shredded coconut
'A cup chopped walnuts
Creambutter„ honey .and
cinnamon. Stir in coconut and
walnuts.

1 teaspoon baking soda

Beat the eggs well, add sugar

Add dry ingredients alternately
with warm tea and mix
thoroughly. Pour into a greased
pan and bake at 350 deg. F iintil
