10 -year-old Carol Chapman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs., R.
Chapman, Warren Street.,With an ease of movement that will•
be the envy -of many much older skaters, she went through a
° flawless. routinethat earned one of the most enthusiastic
ovations of the show.

They all looked scrumptious, good enough to' eat! That was
the Marshmallows at the Goderich Figure Skating Club's Ice.
Ali4cks 70 held-=F-.x_iday and Saturday of last week. Waiting 'for
their turn on the ice th "young members of the Marshmallow
event included Ann Haw, Wendy Penhale,- Jean Samis, Sherry
Kotyk; -tori ea an, Debora Bedard, Patti dean, Elizabeth
Helliraga Kim Searls, Debbie Searls, Sharon Lomas, Andrea
Pogson, ,i..eslie Mackay and Ann Allan. Featured skater in this.
event was Kitty Niblock as the Marshmallow Queen. r

The gingerbread man•
if one,had to choose a most popular character in the Ice Nicks
70 show last Friday and Saturday, the Big Gingerbread Man,
portrayed by R;tisty O Mandy, would certainly be well in the
foreground. An impromtue fall or two added to the laughs for
the children at the show and while he went down a little
harder than he had expected, he survived, much to the
pleasure of all, present.
Valentine
candy heart
Waiting in the wings for their turn on the,ice last week during
the annual Ice Nicks of the Goderich. Figure Skating Club were
six of the seven little Valentine Heart Candies. The Candies
were comprised of such sweet bits as Tracy Wilton, Monica.
Fox, Mary Lou Clare, Lynne eocnrane, Deborah Buchanan,
Debbie Hoy and Becky Van'stone. Susan Schaefer was featured
as Cupid Love.

Certainly one )of the most colorful of the events at the Ice
Nicks 70 held Fast week was the Inca Paradise that opened the
second half of the show. With 26. skaters taking part in the
