Five-year-old Therese Osborn, daughter (*Mr: and Mrs. Pat Osborn, 13 Benrtett Street, had an unexpected
honor at the official openi'ng'.of the new wing a St Mary' SchiYul tag Monday evening. Theresa had been.
selected,to hand the scissors to the Hon.William G. Davis, minister of education for Ontario, for the ribbon
cutting ceremony and Mr. Davis promptly invited her to join, him in cutting the ribbon. She was given a
piece of the ribbon as a souvenir. Theresa is a kindergarten student at St. Mary's. Helping to hold the ribbon
is Vincent Young, former chairman of the Goderrch Separ"fe School Board and the Huron -Perth Separate
School Board. Present chairman of the Huron -Perth Board, Keith Culliton, was holding the other. end of the
ribbon and is not in the photograph. .
