Frank Walkom presented ,the.
motion to hire Boyce. He said
there were 45.Q dogs in town,
and that' last year Boyce
collected almost $2,000 in dog
taxes. He said it had been
estimated that it would—cost
about $3,000 annually

In conclusion he said people

cost of $290,000 :houses . five
classrooms including a

area; gymnasium; library
resource ,centre;- teachers'
seminar room; custodian's room;
health room and change rooms.

The ribbon cutting ceremony
took an unexpected twist, when
five year old Theresa Osborn,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pat
Osborn handed " the . Hon. Mr.
Davis the scissors for the
ceremony. Mr. Davis invited' the
kindergarten -student to join hien
in the ceremony and presented
her with 'a piece of the ribbon as
a momenta of the occasion.'

Young.
A tour of the' new facility
followed and refreshments were
served by the ladies of the
Catholic Women s League.
