GIRL GUIDES' Kingsbridge Girl • Guides opened .their meeting Thursday night with a ganie directed by Lt. Ceasar. - The , girls went to patrol corners and new Guides were tested on hand and— whistle signals. , Capt. Tigert explained more about the Canada °Carousel Challenge for 1970. Jubilee badges were handed out. The Scarlet Tanagers had a campfire. They sang songS, acted -out skits and a game Of charades meeting. ' Lt. MacLennan was unable ,to-attend.-as-she-wasksick with the flu. The Girl Guides also had their toboggan Rarty Sunday afternoon with about 40 Guids._ and Scouts preient. They walked!, througli snow up to their knees to the hill behind the John Howard farm. Lt. MacLennan carr6ied Lt. creek on her back. She was very succe'S-Sful 'and they didn't get wet. The. group went bae,k to the. c hurch .basement for hot -chocolate and doughnuts.
