Connestoga College welcome
public to second open house
Red Carpets unfold on the
Dom Campus of the Conestoga
College of Applied Arts and
Technology, as facultyand
students finalize preparations
surrounding their second annual
opin"house to be held between 1
p.m. and 5.30 p.m., on
Saturday, January 17, 1970. The
entire campus will be open to
the public,
Persons in various information
booths- will provide answers to
questions concerning the College
and courses. Much of the
equipment will be In operation.
Students will be acting as hosts
for the occasion.
Of special interest to visitors,
the Apollo 11 Moon Trip filth,
"Eagle Has Landed" will be
shown and a video-tape
recording of the official opening

Conestoga College, still in its
second year, now has an
enrolment •exceeding • 1,100

with the college bringing total
enrolment approximately 2,500.
Offering courses in regular and
continuing education, the
academic program includes
three-year diploma courses and
two year diploma courses in

Comm unications-Design and
Technology. A one year
certificate course in Recreation
is also offered for university
graduates.
Increasingly, portions of these
programmes will be offered on
an evening basis to part-time
students wishing to further their
education.
