the Arthur Circle bazaar Saturday. Candles were available in every

size and color imaginable. Tree ornaments sold well, too, as well
as table centrepieces for the Yuletide season.

Christmas music and tasteful,
Yuletide decorations greeted
guests who attended the Knox
Presbyterian Christmas bazaar
and tea Saturday sponsored by
the Arthur Circle.
President Mrs. Lucy Johnston
had a warm welcome for
everyone rho entered -the festive- -
rooms.
Bazaar tables were laden with
hand-knit and hand -sewn
articles, all suitable for
Christmas giftgiving. There were
imaginative Christmas
decorations on sale, too, as well
as plants and huge artificial
flowers.
The bake table did the best
business with plenty of call for.
Christmas puddings, cakes,
cookies, rolls and other treats.
The tea-room was, set on a
medieval Christmas theme with
the Boar's head as the focal
point. Two richly -costumed .
medieval court ladies flanked the
centrepiece, and each table was
done up to resemble a Christmas
package.
Additional color was
sprinkled through the tea-room
as young pages in bright
costumes directed the guests to
their seats and attended their
needs while there.
